Funeral March & Rally for Transit Funding
Join us for a funeral march and rally for public transit!
Our Bay Area public transportation systems are facing major budget shortfalls in the aftermath of the pandemic. If not addressed with state funding, Bart, Muni, and agencies across the state will be forced to implement devastating, potentially irrecoverable service cuts that pose a devastating threat to California’s future.
Schedule of events
1PM: Meet at UN Plaza to march to City Hall
1:30PM: Funeral and rally at City Hall
Wear your funeral attire, bring your signs about what transit means to you! It’s all hands on deck to save transit.
