Valencia is one of the city’s busiest bicycle thoroughfares. It’s also a unique shopping and dining destination in the heart of the Mission.
Valencia can be a vibrant and thriving Greenway
Valencia can be the backbone of a citywide greenway network, with more space for people, deliveries and loading to serve business needs, and more greenery to create a gathering space for community. SFMTA should act now to pilot a greenway with a two-way cycle track, greening, loading space for businesses, and expanded space for parklets and people, and create a plan now to redesign the street for the long-term.
